Birth Doula and Birth Photographer

Hello there and congratulations!

I am a birth doula and photographer living near Springfield, Oregon. I believe the best way to support birthing families is by providing unbiased, evidence based information. This way families can make the right choice for them without fear of judgement or shame. I have spent most of my adult life in healthcare and know how much that environment can be biased and judgmental. I am here to support you and the choices you have made.

I am a DONA trained birth doula and I am always trying to continue my education. This education comes in many forms including working with other doulas, reading too many books, learning from midwifes, and being an Evidence Based Birth pro member.

My photography and videography journey started with capturing friends and their families many years ago. I then started working in the wedding industry as both a photographer and videographer. I worked weddings for a few years, and still capture them here and there, but knew I wouldn’t be a forever wedding vendor. I was asked to capture my first home birth and that is truly what sparked my connection with birth. I have moved my entire life towards supporting birthing families since that birth and have enjoyed every minute of that new journey.
